WELCOME
The Institute for Careers and Leadership Development, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization has been in existence since November 1999. Initially, the program targeted non-custodial parents who were unable to financially care for their children; but were mandated by the courts to do so. While working with this population, the need to provide preventive support became evident. As the result, the program evolved to include youth in elementary, secondary, post-secondary age groups as well as adults with career and leadership development.
Career Development is the process through which individuals create a plan to reach specific career goals and includes an alternative course of action.
