Due to student involvement volunteers must present a valid Texas government identification or driver's license at the time of first volunteer training meeting on Saturday-January 28, 2017 from 12 pm - 2:00 pm. The final volunteer training is February 1, 2017 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. The location information will be emailed to you.
SUMMIT VOLUNTEER OPTIONS
Volunteers may select an area that best fit their area of expertise and level of comfort. If no area is selected or if volunteers are needed in other critical areas, please be flexible to change.
VOLUNTEER AREAS: Catering, Vendor Coordination, VIP, Check-in, Merchandise, Welcome Committee/ Hosting.
Pre-Summit Volunteers ~ Check in Thursday, February 2, 2017 (Call Time: 4:30 pm) Work will consist of setting up vendor booths and preparing for attendees. Shifts are approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Summit Volunteers ~ Check in Friday, February 3, 2017 (Call Time: 7:15 am). The minimum work requirement averages at (2) hours per volunteer and shifts are typically between (2) to (4) hours.
Post-Summit aka CLEAN TIDES VOLUNTEERS ~ Check in Friday, February 3, 2017 (Call Time: 9:00 am). Clean Tides handles all aspect of the Summit’s waste and recycling and has many volunteer opportunities prior, during and after the event.
ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL ARE PERMITTED DURING A VOLUNTEER SHIFT.
